This photo was taken for the pattern and texture compositions. The position I took this photo in was from directly above. The most distinct element in this photo is the rigid texture of the rocks and the lines that travel through them. This photo brings me back to mid fall. The ISO of the photo was 1200. The aperture was F/5.6 and the shutter speed was 1/500 of a second.
The most prominent feature of this photo is the texture of the wood and the brick. When I edited this photo I turned it into grayscale, which created a great contrast between the criss-cross pattern of the wood. The white balance was set to cloudy and the aperture was set to f/7. The shutter speed was set to 1/500 of a second.
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment. The interesting thing about this photo is how the clarity fades as you look further into the distance. It also follows the rule of thirds because the focal point of the picture is more towards the right of the image. The white balance was set to fluorescent and the aperture was set to f/2
I chose this photo because of the contrast between the black background and the colorful flower. This picture was from the self portrait assignment. It follows the rule of thirds because the subject is not standing in the middle of the photo and more towards the left. I took this photo facing the subject straight on. I had the white balance set to fluorescent and the aperture set to f/5.6.
This photo is from the power lines and playgrounds assignment. It clearly follows the rule of thirds as the slide is in the right of the photo. The aspect of the photo that I like the most is the railing of the slide helps guide your eye up the slide towards the sky. The point of view I took the photo from the bottom of the slide looking up. the ISO set to 1000 and the aperture was set to f/5.
What I like about this photo so much is the serious feel of it. I edited the photo by turning it into a black and white photo. In interesting piece of the photo is the texture and pattern of the subjects sweater. The lighting came from the left side of the photo creating a shadow on the right side of the subjects face. The white balance of the photo was fluorescent and the aperture was set to f/5.6.
